"Malaga University: Presentation and International Collaboration with Canada: examples of successful collaborations and mobility programmes"

Professor Guerrero-Perez will give a short presentation about Malaga University and the possibilities of participation of Canada in European projects.

"Modified Clay Minerals and Geopolymers: CO2 Capture and Other Environmental Applications"

Professor RodrÍguez-Castellón will talk about modified clay minerals such as sepiolite, palygorskite and montmorillonite obtained by different methods. These modified clays were studied in different environmental applications such as CO2, H2S and NH3 capture, toxic elements removal (As) and low temperature VOCs combustion. The applications were studied in lab and industrial scale. In addition, geopolymers were studied for CO2  capture.
